Hope exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ.  Our longing is for people to hear and believe the Gospel message, that though we are sinners, God loved us so much that He sent Christ to die for us and to trust Him for salvation.  (Romans 5:8, John 3:16-18).

 

God calls His Church together in local congregations, like Hope, to respond to His grace with our worship, to live in true fellowship as a family, and to be equipped and sent out to share His Good News with others.  God's love for us and our love for people gives us a "passion to reach beyond our own comfort to all people among whom God places us."  It is our prayer and hope that everyone come to have a personal, living, and growing faith in Jesus Christ.

Hope is a member congregation in the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America (CLBA).
